Blackjack - If the player's primary two cards are an ace and jack, queen, king or 10, he wins. Nevertheless, if the dealer also has blackjack then the hand is a push which means the hand ends up a tie. A winning blackjack pays the player 3 to 2.
Hit or Stand - To hit means that the player would like another card. To stand means that the player no longer wants any additional cards. If the player does hit though and does bust then the player must immediately turn his cards over and his wager is lost.
Double Down - To double down means to double your bet on your initial two cards.
